GED Real Estate Eastern Investment is an opportunistic and value added fund targeting deals in Romania and Bulgaria principally. The Real Estate area was develop in 2007 after the execution of 2 successful real estate deals in the region and the prospected high returns on the real estate market in Romania and Bulgaria. GED normally remains a shareholder in an investee company for a 3 to 5 year term. GED invests principally in short term projects avoiding longer term investments such as green-field to core asset.
